A senior business consultant is needed to successfully guide and manage a major business transformation project connected with implementing a new IT system. The applicant should have significant experience in managing business transformation efforts on behalf of multi-national organisations. Of key importance are skills in eliciting business requirements to inform the IT implementation, gaining co-operation and support of senior client personnel, change management, workshop design and facilitation, and managing a team of business analysts to gather and specify business requirements.
Successful applicants will ideally have the following profile:
- Significant experience (10 + years) in managing large complex business transformation engagements
- Proven track record of successful management, implementation and realisation of benefits for large complex multi-year projects
- Ideally a background in Big 4 or major management consultancy in a senior business change role
- Knowledgeable about ERP IT implementation and packages and aligning IT with business strategy
- Experience of working in liaison role with 3rd party packaged software implementation firms
- Demonstrated senior management workshop facilitation skills and experience
- Excellent academic track record from a leading university
- Experience of working in multiple sectors

The Lead Business Analyst role involves undertaking an analytical exercise to elicit, analyse, specify and validate business and user requirements to support the development of a solution which enables the reporting of survey and audit results for a professional services firm.
The technical solution is a bespoke application which will integrate into a global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation.
Responsibilities
- Plan & elicit user requirements using an appropriate combination of elicitation techniques (existing documentation study, interviews with stakeholders, focus groups, observation, user task analysis, facilitated workshops etc), covering the in-scope process areas.
- Analyse and specify requirements into a set of business and user level use cases which define the interactions between the users and systems, define the business rules and highlight supporting data requirements.
- Validate the user requirements through identification and engagement of appropriate stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Complete analysis of existing reference data and develop proposals for an improved solution set.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record working as a business analyst on major IT business transformation projects
- Experience of working with 3rd parties on packaged software (COTS) implementation, ideally Oracle E-Business Suite as well as bespoke development projects
- Familiarity with Use Case development
- Workshop facilitation skills and experience
- Excellent academic track record from a leading university
- Big 4 or major IT consulting firm background and experience
- Experience of working in multiple sectors
- 5 + years of sound experience of developing business requirements for projects on behalf of major multi-national organisations

The Financial Process Analyst role involves undertaking an analytical exercise to understand and re-engineer the existing business processes connected with invoicing and related processes.
Working as part of an established team consulting to a large global blue chip organisation, the analyst will lead the analysis of the global time and expense reporting system inputs, processes and outputs, the processes that trigger, calculate and generate an invoice as well as revenue recognition. This analysis will support the design and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Responsibilities
- Establish workstream scope, complete stakeholder analysis and develop interview & information collection plan
- Gather required information through interviews and desk-based research
- Complete the analysis of gathered information and distil insights into a proposed solution
- Validate the proposed solution with the stakeholder group
- Specify the operational and financial procedures that will be required to support the proposed solution
- Understand and document the strategic change implications of the proposed processes and system solution
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record working on major finance system implementation or finance transformation projects
- Background in finance or accountancy, ideally a qualified chartered accountant
- Experience of working with 3rd parties on packaged software (COTS) implementation
- Familiarity with established business process analysis and re-engineering tools and techniques
- Workshop facilitation skills and experience
- Excellent academic track record from a leading university
- 5 + years of relevant professional services experience within Big 4 or major consulting firms
